Bio (Feijun Wang)

Feijun Wang

Feijun was born and grew up in Zhejiang Province, China. He did his B.Sc and M.Sc from University of Chian University of Mining and Technology with Chemistry major. Then he came to Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2004 to pursue his doctorate degree, his graduate work was focused on development of chiral oxazoline ligands with a biphenyl under the supervision of Prof. Wanbin Zhang. After graduating, he was a research scientist in East China University of Science and Technology, and mainly focused on the development of novel synthetic strategies. Currently he is a postdoctoral scholar with Dr. Kevin Frankowski’s group at UNC Chapel Hill and he is working on electrochemistry based methods to synthesize natural product-like small molecules for biological screening.
